Aesthetics------
childish, but not suitable for children? rude content, funny and childish humour
quick, messy, scruffy painting- funny and seems inexperienced- again quite childish, easy to process.
creepy looking with the dodgy eyes painted on, quite unsettling and not something people choose to look at. undignified.

Social------
collars on the dog- obviously pets, brings up ideas of conditioning and breeding animals.
natural for dogs to poop but we see it as disgusting, we think were so entitled that even another animal doing its business is an inconvenience to us.
selfish and not ashamed- do we see the dog as lesser than us? why do we keep them as pets in the first place?

Historical------
how recently have we started cleaning up dog shit?
the law in the uk has only been around since 1996, thats only 21 years of fining £1000 but its been socially practiced since like the 70's/80's but just not law enforced.
why is it such an inconvenience to us? well, i guess nobody actually wants to do it.

Cultural-----
english illustrator, a current and everyday sight, funny and quirky but not something you really want printed on the curtains or hung on your granny's wall. why was it made if not to be looked at?? quite a current, probably mostly young audience as published in Instagram and directed sense of humour (i'm not sure my mum would find it 'funny' or even 'suitable')
